Newsflash - 90 Kilometres for 8 Cent - Kalkhoff Electric Bicycles
A Kalkhoff Electric Bicycle is a bicycle fitted with an electric motor and an Lithium-ion Battery. The motor is activated when the cyclists uses the pedals. All Kalkhoff Electric Bicycles offer low,medium and high assistance to the cyclists. It's Pedal-assist is limited by law to 25km/h. It is classed as a bicycle and can be cycled without drivers license, tax or insurance.
The standard 12AH lithium-ion Battery will do 90 km on low assistance. Charging time is 4 hours and costs 8 cent approx.

I have had my Kalkhoff for almost a year now and I wanted to write and tell you just how much I love it.
I hadn't cycled in many years because of problems with my back, but now I can fly up any hills with ease and
still get great healthy exercise. I am amazed at how far I can go on my Kalkhoff and I never have to worry about
going too far or being tired on the way back as I just increase your power and sail home.
I also use my bike when going into Cork city, especially on Saturday mornings. I can cycle right to the city
centre without having to worry about parking - the hassle of finding it and the expense of paying for it! My
